Residential

  1. 50% for 5 years for remodeling where increase in fair market value as determined by the Logan County Auditor is $10,000 or greater; the exemption applies only to the increased value portion of the property
  2. 100% for 5 years for new construction completed by a homeowner or developer of single family housing all of which are built within a single calendar year (as determined by issuance of a permanent certificate of occupancy)
    1. Single family housing shall include multi-unit residential structure(s) containing three (3) or fewer units under one or more roofs, or a combination thereof, all of which are built within a single calendar year (as determined by issuance of a permanent certificate of occupancy)

Residential CRA Application

Commercial

  1. Up to 100% for up to 12 years for remodeling, the exemption applies only to the increased value portion of the property
  2. Up to 100% and up to 15 years for new construction of commercial/industrial facilities; to be negotiated on a project-by-project basis in advance of construction occurring.

Commercial CRA Application

*Note – If your project is a multi-family residential project with 4 or more units under one or more roofs, or a combination thereof, all of which are built within a single calendar year (as determined by issuance of a permanent certificate of occupancy) the project is considered commercial and requires completion of this application.
