NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

The Village of Lakeview Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing for a Variance application, Monday November. 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Village of Lakeview Fire Department Building, located at 540 CR 270, Lakeview, OH 43331. Sari Silwani is requesting variances for a permanently sited manufactured home, 16’ wide x 52’ long. The variances are:(1) Mfg. home is not 22 ft. wide, (2) exceeds 25% of lot occupied by principal & accessory structures. Lot is 60’ wide by 49’ deep = 2940 sq. ft. and 25% of that is 735 sq. ft. and mfg. home is 819 sg. ft., which is 27%. (3) Setbacks for our R-2 zoning district are front = 25ft., rear = 30 ft & sum of sides =10 ft. The mfg. home is 52’ long and the lot is only 60’ wide, which leaves side setbacks of 8 ft not 10 ft. The mfg. home is 16 ft. wide, and the lot is 49 ft. deep, that leaves 33’ and you need 55’ for front and rear setbacks. The parcel they are asking to sit this on is 47-017-14-16-039-000 and is located at 320 Park Ave., Lakeview, OH 43331.

2025 Village Christmas Decoration Contest

Hello.  This year we will be doing things differently.  All homes abd businesses within the Village of Lakeview Corporation limits will be viewed and judged by Council and the Mayor between December 14 and December 16th.  There is no need to sign up.  Winners will be announced and notified on December 22nd.  We will be awarding 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for residences and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for businesses.

PRIZES*

1st place 100% of December Electric Bill

2nd place 50% of December Electric Bill

3rd Place 25% of December Electric Bill

 

*Credit for winners will be applied to bills due by February 10th.

*Must Be in Good Standing and Current with Utility Office To Be Eligible

The Village of Lakeview Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing for two variance applications, Thursday, August 7, 2025, at the Village of Lakeview Fire Building, located at 540 CR 270, Lakeview, OH 43331. 1st variance at 6:00 PM is from Robert Brock requesting a variance to allow them to have seasonal usage of their recreational vehicle, a shed accessory building for storage and year-round parking for their RV on vacant parcel, 47-017-14-05-001-000, located at 560 Lima St., in Lakeview, OH 43331. 2nd variance at 6:30 PM is from Denise Dalicandro requesting multiple variances to allow them to build two 3 story tri-plex buildings on 3 parcels, 47-017-18-02-009-000,47-017-18-02-010-000, & 47-017-18-02-008-000 located at 110 & 120 N. SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING 6/16/2025 4PM

There will be a Special Council Meeting held on June 16, 2025 at 4PM at the Fire Department to pass the Ordinance appointing the permanent Fire Chief for the Village of Lakeview.

LMI Survey

All residents of the Village of Lakeview should have received or will be receiveing a LMI Survey in the mail.  Please complete and return this form as directed as soon as possible.  This is necessary so that the Village of Lakeview will be elligible for grants, etc. to help improve the Village of Lakeview.

Randy Brown is requesting a variance to allow them to have seasonal usage of their recreational vehicle and year-round parking on vacant parcel, 47-017-14-04-001-000, located at 565 Lima St., in Lakeview, OH 43331, which is zoned R-3, a high-density residential district. They have placed a deposit to purchase this parcel upon approval of this variance.
